The Ulysses butterfly is a large swallowtail butterfly of Australasia. It has a wingspan of up to 105 mm. This one was fluttering in the bushes on the main street of Daintree Village in northern Queensland. When they close their wings they don't display any color so was happy that this one kept wings open for a few seconds to enable me to capture the beauty.
