This is the last of three images for my story entitled 'The Maid of The Lake'. In the first image (The Maid Waits) which you may find in my portfolio, the lady knight lurks in the lake awaiting her mortal enemy who robbed her of her maidenhood in her youth. In the second image, 'The Maid Has Struck', she has emerged from the lake and stricken her foe by claiming 'his manhood for her maidenhood'. Gruesome! :) In that image, she is pondering what she has done and what she will now do now she has fulfilled her near life-long ambition. This question is answered in the final image in this series. She goes back underwater to rest! :)

I will be publishing 3 poems detailing the complete story on our sister site, FanStory very soon now that the final image is done and will also add them to each image on here when I do. Happy viewing! R
