Beachcomber dogs against the setting sun...

Dog Heat Afternoon...

by Dick Lee Shia

It's a Dog's Life Contest Entry
There are 14 of them who are regular habitu├ęs on this beach playing with a wheeling free-feeling of feeling free-wheeling every low tide as if the entire stretch of fine sand is their vast playground! This is where they spend their lifetime! They catch small fishes in the shallows; they swim during high tide; they converge during ebb tide when a bitch is in heat and the alpha males engage in Freudian acts! After 90 days, a nursing mom would eventually introduce her litters to this life at sea! Then the life cycle continues... THANK YOU SO MUCH, REVIEWERS!!!
