Chiaroscuro Technique Contest Entry

The mixed media creation started out with a photo I took moving the camera in fast motion, circular over a green painted light bulb in a golden socked.

Original setting of Sony DSC-H9:
f/2.7, 2 seconds, ISO 100, focal length 5 mm, light of light bulb only

I darkened some of the areas where the light got too bright. I used several filters to intensify the effect of light emerging from darkness. I airbrushed some areas and cropped the picture.
