I've had many people here ask about my flower gardens so I decided that before the frost killed what was left I'd take some photos. This is just a small section of the flower beds that run along both sides of my driveway. Since I took this photo just a few weeks ago the frost has killed some of what you see here.

Every autumn comes the huge job of preparing the beds for winter or what I call 'putting them to bed' Everything is cut back and carted away to the compost pile. Within another couple of weeks the only color around my place will be from the gorgeous old Maple Trees. So while the killing frost....AND my clippers do in the flowers it will also cause the leaves to change colors. One of my favorite times of the year.
