Some years where I live winter seems to last FOREVER! Now, that's figuring it's a normal winter....snow from end of November-early December all the way through until April.

Got up early yesterday (October 23) and THIS is what I saw. Not just a little dusting but enough snow to cover even the soaring branches of the trees. I liked the way the branches of this old Apple Tree, covered in snow, framed the scene beyond them.
