I penned this poem to go along with this image. Happy Sundays to you all!

When on my hobbyhorse astride
I sit, through space and time I ride
Into battle with Joan of Arc
And with Hood, the rich to attack.
I march for months to the crusades
With Lionheart and christian blades
And fight him beside Saladin
When I turn muslim paladin.
Like Annie, I am a cowgirl
When o'er me, a lasso I twirl
To rope a bull or ring a foe
Though how it's thrown, I do not know!

My steed grows wings like Pegasus,
(When he is not Bucephalus)
As, to warn friends of foes nearby,
With Revere at midnight we fly.
When through Wonderland, a stray stroll
I crave, he is my rabbit hole.
To my Narnia, he's the wardrobe
Beyond which lies a wondrous globe
Across which on my horse astride,
In my own space and time, I ride!
