Meet Mr. Chewbaca. This is my spunky~monkey 7 yr. old Shih Tzu. We named him Chewbaca because we could not find any names for the Ewoks in the main Star War Sagas. Teddy bear like Ewoks first appeared in Return of the Jedi. The original concept of the Ewok was developed by the movie producer George Lucas. He used his own dog a Griffin Bruxellois breed as inspiration. As a puppy and even still if Chewbaca sits up or walks on his hind legs he resembles a Ewok. If you look up Ewok in Wikipedia it states them to have the following distinctions: Curious, Friendly, Courageous, and Intelligent. Well, my little Chewbaca has the same and also a " Whole Lot of Love " which he unselfishly gives everyone, young, old and even felines! Here he is ready to take a Roll in the Clover!
