Kerala is a state in south-west India, known as "God's own country", and is one of the popular tourist destinations in the country. The phrase was adopted as a slogan by the tourism department of the state's government in the 1980s when it was relatively unknown, in addition to marketing campaigns to boost the industry.
I took this picture at the holiday resort of Munnar town during my visit there a year ago.
Camera: Canon SX130IS, standard settings, image slightly adjusted for brightness and resized to FAR requirements.
