Expressions - Art Contest Entry

I wanted to capture, in her eyes, that eternal light that shines through all adversity. This woman fought a brave battle with cancer. She had a strong faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ. Up to the very last breath, she demonstrated her genuine love and joy in God. She went to be with Him just a few weeks ago, and I wanted to honor her with this portrait. I wanted to bring comfort to her mother, who is my sister in law. God bless her.
