I believe that during the winter this TAMARAC Tree may be the one I have photographed more than any other. It sits at the final bend in my driveway. Just around the corner you can see here, past the TAMARAC Tree, is where my gardens start.

The TAMARAC Tree, unlike other hardwood trees does not shed it's leaves in the winter. During the summer this tree's leaves are golden but during the winter they turn this beautiful orange color and I absolutely LOVE coming down the hill and seeing this single fiery tree standing there among the bare Maple Trees and the various softwood trees.

Took this photo on a fairly overcast day so the light was very mellow. I really like the way that little orange tree just pops on a day like that.
