At our local swap meets and flea markets here in Southern California one always can find the strange. This is a table made out of Kewpie dolls by Woodruff Glasco. By trade Mr. Glasco takes the lost, forgotten and the thrown away and reassembles it into something unique. He lost count of how many dolls he used. He found them all for $ 5.00 in the newspaper. Kewpie's have been around since 1909. They represent Cupid, the Roman God of erotic Love but in a little chubby fairy like body. I wanted this so bad. The price tag of $ 350.00 kept me from buying it. It sure was cute!
