This is a male Green Aracari. The females look the same except they have a brown hood. This bird is among the smallest members of the Toucan family, reaching 12-16 inches long and weighing 3.9 to 5.7 ounces unlike many Toucans that are up to 29 inches long and weigh over a pound. These guys eat mostly fruit, but insects are also an occasional part of their diet, giving them protein. The serrated edges of their large bills helps them to grip and gather fruit.
