The Red-Crowned Barbet is a tropical bird that primarily eats fruit but will also dine on a wide range of insects such as cicadas, ants, moths, crickets and beetles. This species is threatened by habitat destruction. They are found in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand - and at the MN Zoo :)
