I was out in the gardens this past October mulching the beds for winter. The compost pile I was carting mulch from is right at the edge of the Apple Orchard. On about my third trip over with the wheelbarrow I watched as a fog started to settle ONLY into the far section of the Orchard.

Went back and got my camera and by the time I'd returned this is what I saw. It was as if a pale bluish fog had settled into just that one spot and the lower portion of the sky beyond also had this strange blue cast. It was about mid-morning.... a beautiful Autumn day.... no storm on the way.

In all the years I have lived here it is the ONLY time I've ever seen this. In fact, I've never seen fog of any kind settle into just one section of the orchard....never mind a fog w/ this bluish cast. It was actually quite beautiful....I'm not sure my photo does it justice.
