Sumatran tigers, are an increasingly rare breed. Habitat fragmentation due to development projects and agriculture are serious threats, and commercial poaching occurs at varying levels across all tiger range states. It is estimated that only about 300 - 400 of these beautiful creatures remain in the wild today.
