A quiet lovely little pond.
Welcome to Peacham Pond, Vt. This little pond has a surface area of 338 acres. It is surrounded on Three sides by the Groton State Forrest, which in and of itself is a great day of shooting - lots to see, if you don't mind a little hiking.
I took this shot in mid Sept. of 2016. What made this shot unusual to me was that it was noon, the Sun was high and intense. But to my amazement and delight no wind. Hence the mirror reflection. I took a few test shots which had so much "lens flare" as to be useless. So I thought maybe I'll try my trusty Circular Polarizer Lens and an extra long hood - this is the result.
I cropped the image and pushed the clarity slider to the right to increase the clarity by roughly 10%. Everything else is as it came off the card.
I hope you enjoy "Peacham Pond" ... B-)) Bob
