Hissing Goose showing off weird serrated tongue

I wanted to get a shot of a goose hissing to show off the serrated tongue -wasn't difficult to do since all it takes to get a Canada Goose to hiss is to walk directly towards them! The serrated edges or spikes on their tongue act like a sieve, allowing them to filter food particles from the water. The tongue can also be used to grip food. When they eat grass they hold onto the grass by pressing it between the tongue and the top of the mouth.
