CANDID Contest Entry

In the Catholic faith children above the age of 7 are given their First Communion in a special Mass and Ceremony attended by the parents, family and friends. There are usually about 20 children in the class each year. In this photo this child was just given Communion by her Grandfather who is a Eucharistic Minister in his Church. Her parents are standing in the rear to the left. It was a very special occasion for all.
