I took this shot a year ago beside our house in Chennai. The mother was sitting next to the compound wall and keeping a strict watch on her baby playing around. I gave her 2 bananas as she was not happy to see me and she accepted it, posed for me and vacated the place.
Camera: Google Nexus cellphone camera.
Image slightly cropped and resized to FAR requirements.

India has wide range of destinations with diversity among the region and habitats such as forests, grasslands, wetlands and deserts. The bio diversity of India support variety of flora and fauna and the monkeys are one of them. India is home to large family of monkeys species distributed from evergreen Western Ghats to north east states and dry forests of central India.

From getting shitfaced on stolen whiskey to attacking politicians and stealing files from government headquarters, India's monkeys have gone bananas.

But it's not really a laughing matter. Monkeys are belligerent little a**holes, a f****ing menace, financial drain, and protected species all rolled into one. They're intelligent and pissed. They steal people's food, attack locals , spread disease, and inherit houses.
However, at the same time, they're protected animals, who are only reacting to a situation they have been put into by mankind. It's not as if their actions are motivated out of anything other than a desire to survive.
