An Autumn Falls
Moss Glenn in Sept.
Two of the most charming waterfalls in Vermont have the same name. There is Moss Glenn Falls of Stowe, and there is Moss Glen Falls of Granville. The latter falls is a roadside attraction that has been featured in nearly every photographic portrait of Vermont ever published.
At the base of these falls is a 20' wide teal colored pool. Unfortunately on this day the light was overcast and the pool was an unattractive gray/green. So I chose to lower my angle and add more of the rocks in the foreground.
I chose a center portrait presentation due to a lot of distracting debris and clutter on either side of the falls. I think that I will return to these falls again, only this time right after "Green Up Day". There is a viewing platform on the right that I think I can incorporate into a more inclusive take.
