In a Fishing Boat
Racing the Storm
by nature rules
If you can see the scene under the bridge you can see several other boats scattering when this storm suddenly blew up. We were all enjoying a popular fishing spot on a large lake. When a storm blows up on the water you must find a safe place for the boat. In this case we were 10 minutes from our loading ramp and decided the skies were bright in that direction and the storm seemed to be moving across the lake behind us. Not true...the storm stayed on our tail all the way to the dock. We were just able to get the boat out of the lake before the downpour. And the stormy skies followed us all the way home....I think Mother Nature was simply trying to make her point..."Don't Mess with Me!"
