Sanibel Lighthouse Before a storm blew in. Loved the clouds and the light/dark the incoming storm offered. We made it off the Island before the storm driving East it stayed West and Behind us. All manual settings/Kelvin Scale for white balance control and low light shooting.
Sanibel Island is on the West Coast of Florida. It is shaped like a Crescent positioned East-West Direction. The Gulf current here sweeps up the coast from the South..Sanibel Island is positioned sideways to the flow, so it gets an abundant supply of seashells.
Sanibel Lighthouse began construction in February1884 and completed 6 months later.The Sanibel Island Light was one of the first lighthouses on Florida's Gulf ... Height, 98 feet (30 m) feet (102 feet (31 m) above sea level).
