Mixed Media: None | A few years back I had a mini-doxie who insisted on the 3:00 a.m. dog run. While camping I saw something like this. It has stuck in my mind, but at the time I knew I didn't have the skill to present it. After a those few years passed I painted this with pallet knife. It was a thrill to see a painting I had held in memory until I felt confident enough to do it.

A few years back I had a mini-doxie who insisted on the 3:00 a.m. dog run. While camping I saw something like this. It has stuck in my mind, but at the time I knew I didn't have the skill to present it. The painting is completed by using a pallet knife in order to capture textures and the drama of the Rio Grande river rushing through a canyon fully lit by a full moon.
