Straight out of the Garden Contest Entry
This is my Knucklehead pumpkin I grew last year for the first time. Knucklehead is the actual name of the seed and type of pumpkin. It grows just like any other pumpkin except the bumps and warts start out green and as it matures becomes orange. This is not GMO. It makes for a awesome carved pumpkin. We won a contest last year. If you pick it before maturity it can make a awesome Frankenstein. Ours was a warty old witch. Watching these guys grow bumps is a joy for kids. Teens not so much, I guess it reminds them of pimples. The seeds can be dried and used the next year. I have 6 Knucklehead's in my garden for this year. Whoops, 7 including ME....:-) Thank You for Reviewing.
