While vacationing last winter, my husband and I stopped at a local beach in Hobe Sound, FL for a couple of hours just to walk the sand and stick our toes in the water. Of course I brought my camera. There were birds, shells, sea glass and the usual array of characters enjoying the summer sun, but this beautiful flower and it's vine were the highlight of my summer. It was actually quite large and so unexpected. I was amazed that no one had trampled it. I just loved it and shot several photos. The sights, sounds and smells of summertime are definitely my favorite part of the season.
