While visiting my parents out in Arizona, I took a walk around their gated community and came upon these very striking flowers. A number of the residents had bushes of them on their properties. This flower has many names, based on the size of the bush or tree and where it is seen. It is known as Gulmohar, Red Bird of Paradise, Royal Ponciana and a few others. I call it fabulous!
