A Spider's Hammock

Web of Dewdrops

by nature rules

A morning of heavy fog was a treasure trove of photos. And the more light that appeared the more treasures appeared. These tiny webs were everywhere in the bushes and branches. They told quite a story of activities all night long by our tiny spiders and such. Finding one that had a clear enough background to show the web was another story.

This tiny web was hanging between the leaves of an ornamental Japanese Maple. I have never seen such coverage of fine, moisture droplets as this particular morning. One nudge of the branches though and the web would break. Thank you for viewing.
