Yellow Cab

by nature rules

Yellow Contest Entry
Our Yellow Cabs have seen better days...but they still have a light on the top so you can see them coming and a photo of Abe Lincoln on the door!

For those of you who like to read artist notes..like me...

I must share this story of my 75 year olds mother's first trip to NyC to see one of my performing choirs at Carnegie hall. At the end of the trip I was seeing my mother off from the the hotel. As we exited the entrance of the hotel we were pulling her bags. There was a whole line of Cabbies at the entrance of the hotel. As we exited with her bags a cabbie came forward and took her bags and put them in his trunk. The cabbie int front of his began an argument stating that he was in line for my moms luggage and Fare. The two began arguing profusely. My 74 year old mother stepped up and pulled her luggage out of the trunk of the cab and moved to a third cab behind the two arguing and used his services. It was classic!!! I miss my mom very much;. Ty for viewing.
