A Magnolia blooming on trunk of tree

Shy White Bloom

by nature rules

White flower(s) Contest Entry
This is a somewhat renegade White Star Magnolia Blossom who was giving up on the fickle spring weather we had this year...which was spring warm long enough for early blooming plants and trees to open and then freezing for the next 4 nights. Most blossoms out on the end of the branches were burnt by the frost. During a second and very sparse blooming on this tree this one lovely blossom was sticking close to the heart of the tree to avoid those wind and cold ravaged branches. She bloomed right out of the trunk. On this particular day there seemed to be a slight beam of sunlight reaching her shy, white face. Thank you for viewing.
