Indian cuisine reflects an 8,000-year history of various groups and cultures interacting with the subcontinent, leading to diversity of flavours and regional cuisines found in modern-day India. Later, trade with British and Portuguese influence added to the already diverse Indian cuisine.

I took this picture in a restaurant in Delhi sometime ago. As you can see there are many varieties of food which are refilled once you finish. Food is served in Copper plates and small cups. The curries go down well some chilled beer!:) The orange Indian sweet dish (pudding) calms the burning palette!:) Chilled beer helps too!

We are a nation of food hedonists no matter it is totally unhealthy/weird/semi-gross food that you secretly love, but would never admit to anyone, nor would you be caught eating by your wife! I?m talking about this rich food that I eat once-in-a-while as an indulgence, and especially when my wife is not around!. How can you resist when the waiter keep serving as you start eating and sees to it your plate and glass is always full!:) No extra charge for extra serving! I?m not the only one who does this very occasionally. Am I?
