The Bird's Nest Fern [Asplenium nidus] is a true fern which takes its common name from the arrangement of the leathery. Green leaves, which form a rosette. Unlike many other ferns, the leaves are uncut. The leaves could reach a length from 18 inches [47 cm] to 48 inches [120 cm] and are usually 2 to 3 inches wide. New leaves uncurl from the fibrous dark-brown core.
