Window Washers

Clean Reflections

by nature rules

Reflections Photo Contest Contest Entry
This photo was taken through a hospital window on the fifth floor..with my phone. It is of an opposite wing of the building. The height of these window washers was impressive. But their process was the most mesmerizing..as they worked in sync in order to watch out for each other as they lowered floor by floor. They would swing to windows beside them and hang on to the building frame to wash those windows. You can see how they both have a knee and a foot around on of the beams. It was a window washer ballet of sorts. I watched them almost to the ground level.

Both were clothed in highly neon colors. The windows were a mirrored blue with white frames. The bricks were orange. Although attractive.... I found the colors very distracting for this reflections contest. Converting to B&W was chosen.

Thanks for viewing.
