Reflections Photo Contest Contest Entry
A couple of weeks ago I joined a friend for a day of birding and while walking the trails of one of Florida's conservation regions, we came upon this Great Egret amongst lily pads, swamp grasses and marsh. It was a very hot afternoon and the sun was really bright. Even though I used a hood on my lens, it still wasn't enough to mask the glare, so I adjusted it slightly on the computer post processing. Amongst all the plants around him, his reflection was really quite beautiful and I hope to go back again soon to shoot some more of him and all the other birds in this refuge.
