Horse and buggy on bridge over icy winter creek

The Rhythm of Frost

by DrCarlton

THE RHYTHM OF FROST by Dieter Carlton a poem for which the artist wrote as follows ... Across the valley, silky white It blinds the eye, the snow so bright And through the barren trees aloft The winter breeze would whisper soft Much like a chorus melody From distances we cannot see In harmony the rivers' flow Would burble o'er the ice below And from my buggy I could view My horse in perfect cadence too Then joining in on all the fun Through passing clouds, the morning sun Bestows its rays in graceful dance To welcome winter's first romance This winter's day we may have lost If not for THE RHYTHM OF FROST
