Spanish Broom blooms during the monsoon season in New Mexico. This is a presentation of their bloom when the canyon river flows through marching bluffs on either side. There are five paintings in this series. Each one is as different as the next turn up the canyon, but the same. A person could get lost in these canyons. This is painting number two of the five paintings in this series. It took me a few years to decide that the series was finished with only five paintings. I learned a lot about the use of the pallet knife in this series.
