Skill challenge B/W Contest Entry
Many commuters in silicon valley use the Caltrain to get to work. It is not cheap but is much faster than a car during rush hours. It runs the entire length of the valley from Gilroy to San Francisco.
I feel the b/w version is more effective than the color image. The bold red diagonal lines in front of the train are so dominant it is hard for the eye to get past that. In the b/w version they become more of an interesting shape and are not as overwhelming. Also I find the yellow line along the track to be very dominant and contrasts with the red of the train. The colors seem to interfere with the eye discovering all there is in this image.
Hope some agree also!
