Not only did I inherit a love if photography from my father, but a love of planes also. I remember as a child my dad would drive us to the airport to watch the newest jet make it's first arrival. My mom and older brother could have probably cared less, but I loved watching the jets land and take off. This is a Stearman (Boeing) model 75 biplane ,used as a military trainer aircraft, built in the '30s and '40s.Built in the US,it was the primary trainer aircraft used by the US Army Airforce and US Navy,as well as the Royal Canadian Air Force, during WWII.After the war these planes were sold and used as crop dusters ,sports planes, and in airshows. I photographed this one at a local airshow
