Feeding on Corn on Plant Stand
Sparrows in Snow
by nature rules
These sparrows were active during a fairly heavy snow, as I had just spread some cracked corn on a plant stand that stays out in the winter. The flying sparrow actually has a kernel in his beak. As many of you know, this winter has started off with a huge BANG...and I wish I could bring my wild friends into the warm. Feeding the birds, and the raccoons and yes, the possum and a feral cat or two is just about all I can do other than open our doors and windows and let the heat out toward them... I hope all of you and yours are safe and warm.
