A Hairy Orange from the Refrigerator!

This moldy orange was found in the bottom of the fruit drawer in the refrigerator. Winter time in our neck of the woods is a tough time to keep fresh fruit for very long. As it comes to us from a great distance and is already less than fresh. Even though I was headed to the trash with this gray, hairy fungus/moldy orange I stopped. It was too tempting for a macro. I was pretty shocked myself to see just what was living on this orange. The round circles are the spores. Not good...
