Hope is a small town located about 90 miles south of Anchorage off the Seward Highway, this is a former gold mining town with a population of about 200 hundred, a visit to Hope will have you feeling like you have stepped back in time, with the mostly old structures and homes, this is a very old log home that is still occupied today people still come to pan for gold here in the Resurrection River.
