Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Entry
This is another in my experimental abstracts, this one depicting a blazing fire. I used a 12" x 10" canvas board, dropped four different colours into separate plastic cups, added a small amount of water and a drop of silicone glue. I then put some from each cup into a fifth cup, in layers and tipped it on to the canvas board. I next tipped the board so that the colours intermingled and used a palette knife to reach the edges. I finally used a straw to blow through to make different patterns in the paint. Hope you like it! It was great fun to do.
