Woodman are known for millennia in many cultures around the world. They are believed to be deities or creatures of nature. They appear in myths, folktales and urban legends as well as in novels and plays. They are described as benign creatures of nature in various sizes and shapes, known as Cyclopes, Green Man, Giants, Bigfoot, trolls and male fairies.

The Wood-Shook-Shook is a creature of my own imagination. I invented him as character for a night time story. He is a friendly, good natured giant covered with shaggy hair.
