When I saw the end result of this image it reminded me of Cloisonne Jewelry. Cloissione is enamel designs surrounded with with thin metal wire. To make this I cut out an curvy apple blossom bracnh. I loved the way the flowers fell on the branch. They looked beautiful. I layed out two branches with blossoms and buds in png mode so I could move the images around. When I saw what I liked I made the image solid and used the kaleidoscope filter to get a design I liked. I got a lovely loop of flowers. I cut the outer and inner background out and took one of the petals for the inner part of the petal. I liked the texture you could see in them, I changed the color of the petal to a cobalt blue. Keeping the original lines within the petal that gave it texture. I overlayed the petal loops over the plue petals to get my flower. Ithen use the same branch I originally used to make the design and created a new one for the border. For the background I chose a jade green color and added some effects to give it the look you see.
