The Other Moss Glen

I posted a shot of these grand falls back I think 2016-17 maybe. I put a word of caution in my notes then that this was not a shoot for the "faint hearted". That admonition still rings true and more so for this side of the river. I drove this time so my companions and I arrived at the parking lot on time, 5:30 AM! A little over an hour hiking/climbing to the shooting site. The "shooting site" is a ledge shaped like an hour glass. This Moss Glen drops 125' (38M) to the bottom of the Glen River Gorge. In this shot you see the entire falls. Its two stage with the upper stage dropping 40' (12M) into a small pool. The lower stage drops 80' (24M). The position of the falls and our camera angle put the full falls in even morning sun light. Setting up each shooter was guided by Safety First, Last and Always. One shooter and his equipment are roped to an anchor held by 2 fellows, and the forth acts as the director. Takes longer this way, but "We ain't lost nobody yet!"... thanks for having a look... Bob
