Black and White Photo Contest Contest Entry
Native Americans called this last full moon of winter the worm moon after the worm trails that would appear in the newly thawed ground. Other names include chaste moon, death moon, crust moon and sap moon, after the tapping of the maple trees. This was taken in March of 2020. This was not shot in camera black/white and was not converted to B&W with the help of Photoshop during postprocessing. The 'Sap Moon' for 2024 won't occur until the 25th at 3 AM. I'm probably going to miss it... Bob
