Every day she sits high up in an Hemlock tree chirping her impatience with the other bird's insistence on taking their time at the feeder. When the other birds begin to leave, she swoops in and clears the rest out so she may have the feeder to herself. This little lady is known as the 'Hairy Woodpecker'. Hairy because instead of a beautiful golden moustache of down these have these hairs going in all directions - hence the name. These birds grow to be twice too three times the size of the Downy.
