Let's break down this "Super Outbreak" in April of 2011. April 27, 2011 to be exact. In April alone that year there was a total of 773 tornadoes in the month 👀. Yes, that is not a typo that is the correct amount. On April 27, 2011 a total of around 290 tornadoes touched down in Mississippi, Alabama (this state being the most hit), Tennessee, and Georgia. Every year we average around one EF5 tornado, but in this day alone we had 4 EF5s touch down. This being the most devastating and long track one of the outbreak. This tornado destroyed 75% of Hackleburg, 25% of Phil-Campbell, and heavily damaged 8 other cites on it 132 mile path. Some of it damage includes, pilled out portions of pavement, scurred the ground, slabbed home and businesses clean off their foundation, destroyed a Wranger Plant (Purposely made to withstand EF4+ winds), left little to nothing in it path, turned the sky almost pitch black the longer it stayed on the ground. This tornado had many shapes and sizes but it mostly being a mile wide and rain-wrapped for most of it life.
