Aftermath Of Time

There is really no story to this photograph, just a conversation with a very frail appearing older black man that reminded me a bit of Sammy Davis, Jr. I have many conversations with older people when I go on shoots because they are always lookin' out their windows and checking everything out of the ordinary out! As I was standing there shooting different angles of the old home this is how the conversation evolved. Old man's name is Amos, but friends call him Ammo.

Ammo: What cha doin' lil' missy?
Me: Just takin' a few pics of this little old place.
Ammo: You an artist?
Me: No sir, just a wanna be.
Ammo: Welp, what cha wanna be? Seems ta me ya is who ya is!
Me: (Smiling, from my amusement) Well, Ammo, I just wanna take better pictures, ain't got much to do with who I is.
Ammo: Welp, missy, can tell rat now ya ain't gonna git no wer waistin' time on that ole piece of crap.
Me: Well, I just have a passion for old crap I guess.
Ammo: (Very quiet for a few seconds) Ya like ole crap do ya? Welp, git a shot of this ole crap!
I turned to look at what Ammo was talkin' about and he was standing there with the biggest smile on his face and pointing to it, he only had one tooth and seemed to be pretty proud of it and I was laughing so hard I couldn't even get the camera to my eye.
