Glass i (Barry) started to fiddle with
photography in the early 80's.
Feverishly bought books & studied
photography to learn the ropes.
He worked in various capacities
in the South African film industry
for 8 years which brought opportunities
to practice photography (never as a
pro photographer though) He loves taking
any subject that catches his i and favours
nature, people & places.
And no he is not bonkers, his head shot was taken
at an African restaurant where part of the entertainment is letting an artist paint your face. He thought it was different and chose it for that reason.
He has won several contests. The contest submission
Spinner was the first place winner in the contest Spider's.
Hilarity... was the first place winner in the contest Ya gotta Love Em - Photo.
Purple Patio Pleasures was the first place winner in the contest my back yard.
The winner of a contest. You can view his winning entry here.

Artist Notes
This is a glimpse of Devons coastline from a high point. I must be honest, vistas are rare in Devon as all the roads are hedged in on both sides and when one sees a great landscape there is no space to safely stop and capture it. Highly frustrating lol.
You will notice that the haze has hidden the horizon line in left of frame abns subsequently made it look distorted or skew. The pic is definately straight ( I checked that with reference to the house in the distance.)
I do hope you enjoy this peek at Devon.
